A nine member team from the National Central University Taiwan consisting of one staff member and eight students are taking part in an immersion program from 20th January 2019 to 31st January 2019 at Yunus Centre. Also present in the delegation are members of the Yunus Social Business Centre of the university who are also completing their orientation visit to social business project sites. During their stay, the visitors will be visiting several Grameen Social Businesses and other Grameen companies involved in social business activities: Grameen Trust, Grameen Healthcare Service, Grameen Shakti Samajik Byabosha, Grameen Danone and Grameen Telecom Trust. They will also visit the Grameen Caledonian College of Nursing, the Social Business Industrial Park and the Young Entrepreneur Project. Their aim is to get a first hand experience of how social businesses are operating in Bangladesh and use the knowledge gained to explore further on ways to solve social problems.

The team was also able to participate in a the day-long conference on Inclusive Finance leading to forming of Inclusive Finance Cooperation Committee (IFCC) co-organized by the Asian Financial Cooperation Association (AFCA) of China and Grameen China, hosted by Grameen trust on 20th January, 2019.
